Ace Auto Glass – 19th Annual Golf Tournament

Ace Auto Glass

19th Annual Golf Tournament, Wednesday, July 25, 2018, Kapolei Golf Club

Benefit for the: Hawaii Children’s Cancer Foundation

Once again, Calvin Tamaye (his wife Grace, sons Evan & Bryson) and the Ace staff and volunteers put on another fabulous day of golf in support of HCCF! Although golf isn’t a fast-paced sport, it can be a lot of fun for many people. Each game allows people to improve their game and skills. Speaking of improving, there are also some people who may be finding it hard to perfect their swing, or positioning, which is where the assistance of golf launch monitors could come in handy. Shop Indoor Golf, for example, in the hopes of understanding the level of potential a golfer may have, as we can all do with a helping hand once in a while, even if it means relying on technology.

We were also joined by 2 HCCF families: the A’etonu’s (Felix, Karen & Kamalani) who spoke on behalf of HCCF and the Settsu’s (Drake & Nancy) who volunteered at the Hole-in-One. There were 60 teams from all over the Hawaiian Islands and Guam enjoying a gorgeous trade wind day on the Kapolei course! Many of the golfers come back year-after-year to enjoy great golf, food, fellowship, and prizes – a testament to the generosity and professionalism of the Ace Auto Glass Ohana!

For the 7th year in a row, our very own board member, Don Murphy, owner of Murphy’s Bar & Grill, was out on the course near the Hole-in-One, grilling up his famous sliders with fix’ins and they were onolicious! Thank you, Don, you are the best!

Mahalo Nui Loa to everyone who came out in support of the event!
