National Cancer Survivor’s Month

June is National Cancer Survivor’s Month. According to the National Cancer Institute, an individual is considered a cancer survivor from the time of diagnosis until the end of life. In addition, because a cancer diagnosis also affects family members, friends, and caregivers, they too are considered cancer survivors.

To our HCCF survivors, we stand with you and for you. HCCF serves to assist, support and advocate for the needs of children diagnosed with cancer, their families and long-term survivors of childhood cancer. The foundation is dedicated to the children who are battling cancer, to those who have survived, and to those who survive in our hearts. For more information, visit www.hccf.org.
